With its super king size English bed, this pretty bedroom benefits from some original features giving it charm and character. Watch the sun set over the pool and vines beyond or stroll out through the French doors into the garden and relax in the shade of the trees with views of the surrounding fields and village church.
The room is fully equipped with wardrobe and clothes hangers, bedside tables, chest of drawers and dressing table. A hair dryer is provided.
A small single bed, suitable for a child up to 12 years of age, can be added to the room on request. There is a supplement payable of €20 per night which includes breakfast.
The sitting/breakfast room is furnished with comfortable conservatory furniture and a dining table for you to enjoy your morning breakfast or take breakfast on the terrace if you prefer. This room has large French doors which also open onto the garden with views of the church. A fridge and tea and coffee making facilities are available here with a range of teas, coffee and biscuits provided.
Your private bathroom provides ‘his and hers’ wash basins, shower, separate bath, toilet and bidet, and heated towel rail. A selection of toiletries are available for your convenience. A full range of bath towels are provided.
A continental breakfast is provided including bread, croissants and/or pastries, cereals, yoghurt, fruit and jams (homemade when available) all served with fruit juice and pots of tea or coffee. Breakfast omelettes are available on request should you prefer this to a continental breakfast.
Breakfast can be served either in your private dining room or on the terrace, weather permitting.
Breakfast is served between 08h00 and 10h00. Please advise us the night before when and where you would like your breakfast served.
If you require a different timing for breakfast or have any special dietary requirements, please just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. (We do not have an allergen free kitchen)
Free WiFi is also available.
(Please be aware that given our rural situation, we can occasionally loose WiFi connection, particularly during stormy weather.)
La Rocheraie has large gardens with shady trees and terrace. Please do enjoy the garden and dependent on the time of year, help yourself to an apple or some walnuts to snack on.
We have a wide variety of birds interested in your comings and goings and the tree frogs and lizards will be keeping an eye on you too!
Comfortable garden furniture is available for relaxing at the end of the day or to enjoy a nice cup of tea or coffee in the early morning sunshine.
A remote control tower fan is able available for your comfort on warmer evenings and we use lightweight ‘coolmax’ duvets in the summer months.
An iron and ironing board is available on request.
A picnic basket is available in your room for use on the terraces or out and about.
We have a large pool with both roman steps and pool ladder. As is required in France the pool area is secured by walls and gate. Sunshades, sun loungers, tables and chairs are all available to use and pool towels are provided.
The pool is available for your private use from 16h00 until 20h00. If you would like to swim in the morning before breakfast, please just let us know and we will arrange for it to be unlocked for you.
Our pool is a chlorine pool and is open for use between June and September.
The accommodation is all at ground floor level however guests should be aware that due to the age of the building and differing floor levels, there are some small steps, sloping floors and overhead beams.

~ No pets of any kind are allowed on the premises.
~ Smoking is completely forbidden inside the house. Smoking is permitted outside the house.
~ Cooking in the guest accommodation or anywhere on the premises is not allowed

The south west of France is one of the largest fine wine producing regions of the world, a must visit destination for wine lovers and connoisseurs!
Explore the chateaux and vineyards of familiar names such as Saint- Émilion and Montbazillac or experience the host of local wines produced locally from Duras and Bergerac.

There are wonderful vibrant local markets in most town. In addition, in July and August, the night food markets are a buzz of fun, food and music. Local artisan products, wines and foods are available to enjoy.
Soumansac, just 4km east of La Rocheraie, is popular locally for its Sunday food markets. Sit under the trees, enjoy the outstanding views and dine al fresco on delicious local food and wine.
Mindfulness Practice Centre

Booking terms and conditions
We will email your booking confirmation to you as soon as possible.
Invoices must be settled in full by departure.
Payment can be made by Credit or Debit card via card machine. We can accept any credit or debit card that displays a Visa, American Express, Diners, Discover, or MasterCard logo. (Please note we are not able to take credit/debit card payments over the telephone.)
Payment by cash (Euro) are accepted.
Direct payment to a French bank accounts can be arranged in advance if preferred.
If you have to cancel your stay with us, please do so with at least 48 hours’ notice. Failing to give this notice will result in the full cost of your stay being charged to you.
There will be no refunds for early departures or for breakdowns of electricity, WiFi, etc, if said breakdown is due to weather and /or other conditions over which we have no control.

HOW TO FIND US
Sainte Eulalie D’Eymet is located in the south-west of the Dordogne and more precisely 23km south of the town of Bergerac, 5km north of Eymet and 4km east of Soumensac (Lot et Garonne). Sainte Eulalie d’Eymet is crossed from north to south, by the D18, which connects Sainte Foy la Grande to Eymet.
La Rocheraie is located near the junction of the D18 and C201 opposite the church of Sainte Eulalie D'Eymet.
